I checked the Zotero directory and can verify that the pdfinfo.exe and pdftotext.exe files are the files that came with the Zotero reinstall I just completed. For example to get title and author you could do this: exiftool -Title -Author input.pdf. OS: Win 10 up to date pdf2image: 1.11.0 pdfinfo and poppler: 0.68. Referencing 48, I have popler installed, pdfinfo is in my path - and if called on the attached pdf it works flawlessly. In the image bellow you can see that they can have different values. When I run "Rebuild index" on the unindexed PDFs and display the debug (D2104877960), I get this: Use a graphic explorer to view the file properties and in the metadata tab make sure you have a title. On the Print dialog box, select Print to File. When the PDF file opens, select Print from the File menu. Enter the password in the edit box and select how long you want Evince to remember the password. I have been struggling to get Zotero to index all of my files. Evince displays a dialog box asking for the user password to open the PDF file.
